Hallee + Owen

Hallee and Owen’s summer wedding at Ivory North in Mora, Minnesota was a truly special day, brimming with heartfelt details and beautiful moments. As a Minnesota wedding photographer, I felt privileged to capture their celebration, and to be a part of such an intimate and personal occasion.

One of the most moving moments of the day was when Hallee shared a first look with her adorable 4-year-old nephew, Rainer, who also acted as their ring bearer. Besides Owen, he is Hallee’s biggest fan. As a wedding photographer, it was heartwarming to witness the bond between the two, and to capture the joy on their faces in those precious moments.

Another touching detail of the day was Hallee’s tribute to her late mother. She wore her mother’s wedding diamond on a necklace, as well as one of her rings and a hat, to honor her memory. This personal touch added a meaningful layer to the occasion and was a testament to the depth of love and respect that Hallee had for her mother.

The couple’s love story was also reflected in the choice of beer they served: Deschutes Fresh Squeezed. This beer had brought them together and was a lovely addition to their celebration. In addition, the couple had the catering from Brasa, where they had their first date, adding even more depth to the day’s personal touches.

Finally, the sunset photos in a field of flowers were a breathtaking way to capture the beauty of their love and the natural beauty of Minnesota. As a Minnesota wedding photographer, I always strive to showcase the state’s stunning landscapes in my photography.
