Kasey + Austin

Kasey + Austin asked if we could do a New Year’s Eve-themed shoot for their engagement photos since they were getting married that coming New Year’s Eve. It was a unique and memorable way to capture their engagements. We decided to do the photo shoot at Urban Daisy, one of Northeast Minneapolis’ newest and most versatile event venues. With its clean, white space and endless possibilities for customization, Urban Daisy is the perfect place to bring your NYE vision to life. AND it was where they were

At this particular NYE shoot at Urban Daisy, the couple’s chosen theme was all about celebrating the end of one year and the beginning of a new chapter in their lives together. We used, confetti, and other festive decorations like disco balls to create a fun and lively atmosphere that perfectly captured the spirit of the holiday.

The Urban Daisy venue served as an ideal backdrop for the shoot, with its chic, modern design elements and ample natural light. The result was a series of stunning images that showcase the couple’s love for each other and the excitement they feel about their upcoming wedding day.

If you’re considering a New Year’s Eve themed engagement shoot of your own, here are a few tips to help you get started:

  1. Choose a venue or studio that fits your style and theme – Urban Daisy’s blank canvas allows you to transform the space to suit your vision.
  2. Consider incorporating festive props and decorations – from balloons to confetti to champagne glasses, the possibilities are endless.
  3. Don’t be afraid to play with lighting – NYE is all about the sparkle, so don’t be shy about adding some twinkle to your photos.
  4. Finally, make sure to hire a photographer who understands your vision and can help you bring it to life.

Overall, this NYE shoot at Urban Daisy was a beautiful celebration of love, joy, and the promise of a bright future together. Whether you’re planning your own engagement shoot or simply looking for inspiration, we hope these tips and images have given you some great ideas for creating a memorable and meaningful photo shoot of your own.
